Wheel Noodle TSG Ipoh at Concubine Lane

After brunch at Patisserie Boutique, decided to drop by the Concubine Lane.
Just wanna take some photos of the hanging umbrellas.
The umbrellas concept a little same as in Empire Damansara KL.
But not as colorful as there.
Hehehe.
As for Wheel Noodles I'll keep for next time when I visit again.
Here are the some photos that I managed to capture.

酸到你 Tomyam @ Butterworth

Me love spicy food !
Got a chance to try out this tomyam at Raja Uda, Butterworth.
This is the place where most of the famous tomyam located at.
Too bad Ju Heng Tomyam Mee was closed on Tuesday.
So the only option is 酸到你 !
Was too full on that day after previous makan session at Tao Buffet !
Only take a few choices of accompaniments.
And this bowl here cost RM5.00 !
Spicy enough and be sure there is a cup of iced water beside you.

Nasi Lemak Kampung Darat @ Changloon, Kedah

Would you wake up as early as 5.40am just to eat typical Malaysian breakfast ?
Yes I mean Nasi Lemak ! Yay or nay ?
Thanks to my crazy bunch of friends, we went together.
It seems quite famous as many went there before.
Was already full house when we arrived at around 6.15am.
Mostly is locals from that area.
A few side dishes to choose from to accompany the nasi lemak with coconut aroma.
They sell roti canai too.

Photo: 7 early 8 early ! 早起的Munyee有Nasi Lemak吃 ?
The overall taste was okay for me.
The sambal could be more spicy hehe.
Not spicy enough for me.
This cost me RM 5.

Once in a while, we must do some crazy things before we graduate !
And I'm glad that I have friends that love eating as much as I do :)

Cafe de Eight八号咖啡洞@Ipoh,Oldtown

Too many cafe's are opening in Ipoh and receives much attention.
And importantly, most of it are near to each another located at Ipoh Oldtown.
Every cafe has it own unique concept with comfortable ambience.
Another cafe added to the list is Cafe de Eight.
Was opened in March 2014 and consider this as a newbie in town.
Not easy to locate this if you are not from Ipoh. Lol.
Pass by Hoong Tho Restaurant, and you can see this cafe at a narrow lane.
They do offer delivering postcard. (each postcard cost RM1.50)
Concept is good but anyway there are too many empty spaces in the cafe.
Maybe the cafe is still new.

Seafood spaghetti.
Was way too bland in terms of the taste.
Quite disappointed with this dish.

Iced Lemon Tea.
For me, the drink is tasteless.
Omg...

Homemade Tiramisu.
I chose this as they recommend this on their Facebook page.
Tasted alright.

Grape Cheese Cake.
Friend said that this is not fresh.
Lol. What to do ? Who ask you to pick the last piece available.
Not much selection of cakes I can say.
Not being biased, but I still prefer Patisserie Boutique over Cafe de Eight.

It taste better after you pour the syrup on the bacon.

Gaharu Tea valley @ Gopeng, Perak

What do you think about Gopeng ?
For me, I thought that Gopeng was a small little town and not much entertainment there.
Me and family visited this Gaharu Tea Valley during CNY 2014.
Yes and the place packed with many people.
Admission is free.

You can purchase the ticket.
They will have vans to pick you up to higher platform of gaharu plantation.
The fee is RM10 person.
We are excited much.
The panorama view from up of the gaharu plantation.
Yes and all the trees in the photo are all gaharu tea trees.

Another photo of the gaharu trees.

There is a counter for you to purchase food and beverage.

Some of the food items on sale.
All are made using gaharu.
We bought a gaharu flavoured ice-cream, gui ling gao and the osmanthus jelly.
All are equally good with a hint of gaharu smell.

Gaharu tea sachet are on sale too.
Improving sleep quality and lower blood pressure are among the health benefits of the tea.

Other products are such as Gaharu cookies, nougats, noodles and etc.

The passion fruit plantation occupied a small area near the parking space.

It was rather sunny on that day !

Kopi 'O' Ais Mural @ Ipoh

Finally Ipoh has its own mural painted by Ernest Zacharevic !
It is the Kopi 'O' Ais Mural at iconic Ipoh oldtown.
Located at the opposite of Kong Heng Restaurant and beside Harold's Bread.

Does it look like the real kopi 'o' ais tapau ?
